New Hope Structure Fire, February 29, 2020
At 2:15 A.M. on 29 February, 2020, Keel Mountain VFD provided automatic mutual aid to a structure fire in New Hope, AL. KMVFD responded with E134, M234, and R334 and four firefighters and reported to the New Hope Incident Commander at approximately 2:45 A.M. At the time of dispatch, the structure was fully involved and reports from the homeowner were that all occupants had exited the structure. The structure was a complete loss with the collapse at least three sides. No injuries or loss of equipment were reported.
